This 60-second warmup was heard played by the Santa Clara Vanguard drumline in
2002 and written by David Reeves as a tribute to drum corps icon Ralph Hardimon,
who shaped much of what people know today as the SCV percussion sound. Ralph
Speak is a rhythmically complex piece which requires both chops and finesse
to perform. For drumlines with brains and brawn, this piece is sure to lay
it on the line!
This piece is available as a Single User part (one part,
no score, licensed to one user), or an Ensemble Set (score,
parts, licensed for one ensemble to perform). Both versions also include an
informational Read Me file, and an audio recording of the piece. For more details
