Tapspace
Tapspace
Publications is a publishing company
specializing in creative percussion music. In 1998 we became
established as a business in the USA, and our niche has
focused on advanced rudimental percussion music, concert
percussion solos, and ensembles. Our headquarters are stationed
in Portland, Oregon. Our publications are available for
purchase worldwide from our website or from select retailers.
In
2003 Tapspace continued on its course of creative innovation
with the release of our marching battery percussion sample
library, VIRTUAL DRUMLINE™. Revolutionizing the way
marching percussion arrangers can now write and hear accurate
playback of their work, we are dedicated to providing the
best in percussion sample technology in addition to our
publications. Released in Spring of 2005, Virtual Drumline
2 has taken this revolution to a completely new level.
With
authors such as Murray Gusseck, Jim Casella, Gifford Howarth,
Mike McIntosh, Colin McNutt, Jim Ancona, Jeff Queen, Nick
Angelis, David Reeves, Chip Webster, Jesse Monkman, Tyler
Dempsey, and Robert Lopez, we continue our company with
some of the most innovative music written for the percussion
world. Our works have been performed by members of such
renown ensembles as The Cavaliers, Santa Clara Vanguard,
Blast!, The Star of Indiana, The New England Conservatory,
and The Concord Blue Devils. This makes Tapspace a premier
source of modern drumline and percussion music and a growing
resource for today's most creative percussion literature.
