Wind Chimes Beneath a Summer Rain is a new marimba solo by Robert McClure which creates musical imagery that both
begins and ends with a pastoral tranquility. Injected between the calm mood
of these sections is a moment of uncertain intrigue leading into a more brisk
ostinato section which requires a strong intermediate command of 4-mallet
independence.
