SOUNDBLASTER
USERS - TUTORIAL VIDEO
Click
here to view a video of how to install your soundfonts
into your Windows PC's SoundBlaster card using the
AudioHQ software that came with your SoundBlaster
card. |
USING
SOUNDFONT PROGRAMS WITH FINALE OR SIBELIUS
It's important to understand that you
don't load the Virtual Drumline™
soundfonts directly into Finale or Sibelius. If you decide
to use a soundfont program (like Kompakt,
Kontakt
or Reason)
rather than a SoundBlaster card, you'll need to configure
your MIDI setup within that program, as well as within your
notation program. In addition, you'll need a third-party
MIDI utility to link the two programs together. By doing
this, your notation program will essentially be treating
your soundfont program as a separate MIDI device.
Since
this process will be different depending on your system,
we've outlined a few common scenarios. Click the link
below that corresponds to your particular setup.

SIBELIUS
USERS
We strongly recommend that Sibelius users upgrade
to Sibelius version 3.1 or later. Sibelius versions prior
to v2.1 do not include the important percussion mapping
capabilities necessary for entry/playback. Current Sibelius
users should contact
Sibelius to purchase the version 3 upgrade.
