John Paul Chapman

John Paul Chapman has 15 years of experience in education as the director of percussion studies for the Willard School District in Missouri.  He holds a Bachelor of Music degree in composition from Missouri State University, where he studied under Dr. John Prescott.  For over a decade, he has composed original scores for numerous marching bands in Missouri, Oklahoma, and Florida, as well as wind ensemble and percussion ensemble works.  His performance experience includes the 1995 Nite Express Drum & Bugle corps (under the percussive tutelage of Michael McIntosh) and the 1996 Phantom Regiment Drum & Bugle Corps (Kirk Gay and Lee Beddis). He has also served on the instructional staff for Gateway Indoor (St. Louis, MO).

He is a prolific songwriter and multitrack recording artist, infusing acoustic and electronic elements to create visionary original music.  He resides in Ozark, MO.
