Winner of the 2013 PAS Marching Percussion Composition Contest, Machine is a gripping, electrically-charged, prog metal-inspired onslaught of notes for the experienced battery ensemble. Jon Weber (Instructor of Percussion at MSU College of Music and 1992 SCV snareline alum) boldly explores theme and variation through some very powerful motifs in 5/4 time while keeping a solid, grounded groove that does not get lost in the chaos.
