Jesse Sieff

A passionate educator, clinician, writer, and musician from Pittsburgh, PA, Jesse Sieff’s unique background in athletics, dance, and theater has cultivated an even more extensive background in music – especially with the marching arts.

Jesse is a proud alumnus of the Indiana University of Pennsylvania Department of Music, studying and performing percussion among many talented peers and professors. He has performed in Winter Guard International with Matrix Performing Arts, Drum Corps International with the Glassmen, and both the University of Pittsburgh and IUP collegiate marching bands. Collectively, these ensembles have provided countless competitive, performance, and touring experiences across both the United States and Europe.

As of fall of 2016, Sieff is active duty musician with the United States Marine Corps where he plays snare drum for "The Commandant's Own" United States Marine Drum and Bugle Corps, stationed in Washington, D.C. Jesse is thrilled to have the honor of serving while promoting his love for music and the marching arts.

Including private lessons, Jesse has instructed at Brentwood HS, Saltsburg HS, Keystone Oaks HS, North Allegheny HS, Mt. Lebanon HS, The University of Pittsburgh, Indiana University of Pennsylvania, and Matrix Performing Arts.
