Caleb Mooneyham

Caleb Mooneyham is the percussion program coordinator at North Pontotoc High School. Caleb has written percussion books that have been consistently scored best in state at the MHSAA marching festival. Caleb has also composed for and directed many successful groups, including an indoor program that received gold in the SCGC PIA class in 2018. Caleb has consistently had students be accepted into the Mississippi All-State Band. He is a leader in the local percussion community and has been working to make updates and improvements to the quality of percussion programs in the Northeast Mississippi Area by leading a committee to restructure, modernize, and improve the percussion audition procedures of the Northeast Mississippi Band Directors Association.

Caleb Graduated Cum Laude from Mississippi State University. While there, he was section leader of the Mississippi State Famous Maroon Band Percussion section during the 2018 marching season, where the ensemble performed two of his own compositions in their junction show. He has performed alongside Jeff Coffin and Rashawn Ross with the Northeast Mississippi Community College Jazz Band. He also regularly plays drum set gigs throughout the year in the Mississippi, Alabama, Tennessee area. Caleb Mooneyha, is an Educational Endorser with Salyers Percussion.
