Chip Webster

Chip Webster is a multi-instrumentalist from Houston, Texas. He was a snare drummer in the Colts Drum & Bugle Corps and the Santa Clara Vanguard Drum & Bugle Corps throughout the late 80’s and early 90’s. As a student, he performed with Interlochen Arts Academy, University of Memphis, and University of Massachusetts. He instructed the Boston Crusaders and the Santa Clara Vanguard during the mid and late 90’s and was a consultant for various programs in Oregon, Texas, Georgia, and North Carolina during that time.

Outside of the competitive arena, he is a composer of orchestral works, a contributing author to Tapspace Publications, and has appeared in the capacity of vocalist, guitarist, and keyboardist in a variety of wide-reaching musical endeavors from the west coast to the east.

He currently serves as an Infantryman in the US Army in Germany, deployed to Afghanistan during all of 2011, and lived. He possesses several medals as well as the power TO MOVE YOU.
