Jason Lord

Jason Lord (b. 1989) received his degree in Music Education (B.M.) from Pittsburg State University, and his degree in Wind Conducting (M.M.) from Missouri State University. During his undergraduate pursuit he studied percussion under Dr. James Clanton, and composition under Dr. John Ross. After receiving his Bachelor's degree, he continued his Graduate studies under the tutelage of Dr. Belva Prather, and Dr. John Prescott at Missouri State University.

Jason was performing member of the Memphis Sound Drum and Bugle Corps, The Colts Drum and Bugle Corps, and Gateway Indoor Percussion Ensemble. He has taught, consulted, and composed for numerous schools in the mid-west including Frontenac HS, Lee Summit West HS, Olathe North HS, St. Charles West HS, Wright City HS, and Glendale HS, as well as Colt Cadets Drum and Bugle Corps, and Music City Drum and Bugle Corps. Jason has also composed for international artists in Tel Aviv, Israel, and Mimasaka, Japan.

Jason is currently the Percussion Director/Arranger for Ozark High School, Music Composer for Rolla High School, and Percussion Instructor for Evangel University. He is the Director and Founder of Echo of The Ozarks, a non-profit marching arts organization based in Springfield, Missouri.

Jason resides in Springfield with his fiancee, Emily, and their Siberian husky, Ridley.
