Kevin Robles

Kevin Robles (b. 2002) is a composer based in Troy, AL. Kevin has shown to be an ambitious student at Troy University in Troy, Alabama, seeking his Bachelor’s Degree in Music Industry, with a minor in Fine and Performing Arts. As a writer, Mr. Robles enjoys composing music for a wide range of genres. He gravitates towards writing for large ensembles, chamber ensembles, and percussion solo. Since his start in composing in 2020, he has been selected as one of 6 winners in the 2022 Young Composers Competition hosted by the Alabama Music Educators Association (AMEA) and has had his compositions played live by multiple ensembles. Mr. Robles also has compositions with C. Alan Publications, Wildlight Publications, and Tapspace Publications. He has also found success as an arranger, writing several marching band charts for various ensembles, including the Troy University “Sound of the South”.

As a performer, Kevin has enjoyed playing with professional ensembles throughout his career. This includes performing with the prestigious Troy University Symphony Band and the PASIC award-winning Troy University Percussion Ensemble.
