Description

The 2005 SCV Tenor Ensemble is a fun, often cacophonous display of the crazy creativity of the 2005 tenorline, helmed by Matt Ramey. Scored for tenor section and a variety of auxiliary percussion instruments, the piece represents a "best of" for licks played by a range of SCV tenorlines during the early 2000's.

For their performance at the 2005 DCI Solo & Ensemble competition, this piece earned the group a 3rd place finish and one heck of a standing ovation!

This piece comes as a professionally printed and bound score and includes individual parts in PDF format for printing or for tablet viewing.

This solo also appears in the tenor solo compilation book,
Violent Tenor Cream.

Instrumentation

  • Marching Tenors (5 players)
  • Drumset (1 player)
  • Crash cymbals (1 player)
