Michael Eubanks

Michael Eubanks is currently the percussion instructor at GrooveU, an innovative two-year Music Career College in Columbus, Ohio. He is the Assistant Marching Band Director, and the Percussion arranger/composer for the Nelsonville-York High School Marching Band in Nelsonville, Ohio. Michael is also a freelance battery arranger/instructor throughout Ohio.

From 2007 to 2012, Michael taught drumset, courses in music theory, computer music applications, and was the creator/director of the Percussion Ensemble at Hocking College in Nelsonville, Ohio. He is an active performer, composer, and arranger in southern Ohio and an Alumni of ‰"the most exciting band in the land,"‰ the Ohio University Marching 110. During his tenure in the snareline at OU (1996‰–2001), he served as a composer/arranger for the drumline as well as a member of the teaching staff. In 2015, Michael had the honor of arranging the battery chart to be performed at the 2015 Chick-fil-A Peach Bowl in Atlanta, GA.

Michael earned his degree in Applied Business (Music Industry) from Hocking College, where he joined the Music Program faculty in 2007. Michael Eubanks proudly endorses Vic Firth drumsticks & mallets.
