The Tapspace Rat-Pad gives you a cushioned, bouncy surface for a unique and quiet drumming experience. Carefully selected from just the right thickness of material, this is the quintessential drummer's mouse pad - or mouser's drum pad. Either way, if you're a drummer it'll be hard to resist the three-dimensional design simulating a used drum head. Even though it's completely flat, it looks as if it fell off the shelf of last year's road tour. Use it as your mouse pad and, when you're ready to take a break from work, throw down a few licks! (We recommend you move your mouse out of the way first!)

While the Rat-Pad works great on any table or hard, flat surface, it's also been designed to pair nicely with the Tap-Off practice pad. Fitting perfectly inside the rim element of the Tap-Off, the Rat-Pad not only serves as a muffler, it also intensifies your workout by encouraging you to play through the Rat-Pad to connect with the Tap-Off surface underneath. This can help greatly to strengthen single- and double-stroke rolls!
