Robert Francis

Robert Francis is a graduate of Marist College and received his MMEd from the Boston Conservatory. He has performed with several groups across the East Coast, from orchestral to musical theater to rock. These groups include the Brookline Symphony Orchestra, the MetroWest Opera, and Boston based percussion ensemble Percussionisms. He has also studied physical theater with Double Edge and has toured with the percussion-theater show Ideas, Not Theories, by Reynaliz Herrera. Currently Rob teaches music in the D.C. area and plays for the Washington Commanders’ Marching Band. His composition Tiger's Blood for percussion ensemble was premiered at PASIC 2013, and has been named "Editor's Choice" on JWPepper.
